Welcome gift... .
Feels like some movie stars...
lol~
There are troops all over Colombo... you see one here BUT, every 10 minutes along the transportation... you'll see a bunch of troops guarding the whole Colombo....
They carried loaded AK47 every where...Don't pray pray
Trade selling on the road side...
This scene was too far from us...
In these days, we, Malaysia no longer selling goods / foodstuffs like that...
Not to forget, our great grand father did that long long time ago...
under the hot sun, waiting for customers...
until night time, all the foodstuffs might be wasted and spoilage...
This was the first restaurant ...
it looks really good...( look only )
a real tree in the restaurant, everything clean and neat...
good services...
we definitely would applaud ....
interesting cuisine... it's actually a typical Sri Lankan's lunch set...
the above dont-know-what-name-dessert....
looks good but taste like ... very weird...
Indian ocean view... very nice indeed...
typical sambals... not too spicy...
variety of dishes...
for all I can say...
well, it's just totally different from us...
look like our foods, sound like our foods but totally not like ours delicious foods...
:S
the first, giant elephant came into sight...
nice sculpture...
a train just passed by the train...
initially we thought next to the wall is ocean....
we were so wrong...
why we had that impression?
See that cutie ?? It's called a Tut-Tut car around the city...
According to our tour guide, he said it's the cheapest transportation in Sri Lanka...
BUT... if we get in there... we have to check the price before ride in...
WHY? cause we are obviously not Sri Lankan...
he even joked as "get in without checking the price, am afraid you would pay with your nose!"
Do not know what building is this... However, it looks like British museum which located in London.....
long beach.... very nice lar!!!...
typical pasar (market).... very messy of course!
This building looks like the one I'd seen in Rome, Italy...even a bit looking like White House
:D
Majority, 70% of Sri Lankan are embracing Buddha as religion..
Thus, many many Buddha and temple...
Not to forget, you would see many people waving at you....
