Monkey: he becomes a guardian for that beautiful and sophisticated DESSERT....lol~
Mickeymiao: HEY, I ain't going to makan (eat) it NOW!!!! *angry*
It happened a month ago, Mickeymiao's ex-colleague introduced her to a blog since he said everything of this blogger bakes seemingly refine and really delicious.... Due to curiosity and wanna-make-monkey-happy... she secretly placed an order to this blogger... It turned out to be weird since Mickeymiao insisted to go a place ( Harmatas area) yet did not unveil why she needed to go there...
So, we arrived in a house... and someone came out with a white box... which the above photo already illustrated the pattern of it... Guess, you would definitely want to try it...
see this super nice/ dulcet PASTRY....
From here maybe just kind of vague..... In fact, it's more like a decoration... rather than a pastry
HERE YOU GO...
(stole from FATBOY's blog)
It's PAVLOVA... only RM70..
Inexpensive though :-)
According from Wikipedia:
"Pavlova is a meringue-based dessert named after the Russian ballet dancer Ánna Pávlova. (Russian: А́нна Па́влова).[1] Colloquially referred to as "pav", it is a cake of meringue with a crispy crust and soft, light inner.[2] The name is pronounced /pævˈloʊvə, pɑːv-/, unlike the name of the dancer which was pronounced /ˈpɑːvləvə, ˈpæv-/.[3][4][5]
The dessert is believed to have been created to honour the dancer during or after one of her tours to Australia and New Zealand in the 1920s. Where it was created and the nationality of its creator has been a source of argument between the two nations for many years, but research indicates New Zealand as the source.[2]
The dessert is a popular dish and an important part of the national cuisine of both countries, and is frequently served during celebratory or holiday meals such as Christmas dinner."
